Cemetery drive.

For my last day at my grandparent's house i REALLY wanted to get some nice pictures while the sun was rising but the weather decided to be extremely cold and windy with drizzling rain. I'm not the kind of person who lets things like that get me down so i decided to use the weather to my advantage! luckily there was a cemetery right across the street so picked an outfit that would fit the mood. I found a really cute antique umbrella that i wanted to use but it was to windy to open it :( The wind kept making howling sounds through the trees, it was kind of nice.

Ransom note for thought.

Making ransom notes is a new hobby of mine. I'm excited to bring in the new year with great friends, costumes,  music, and food! Maybe i'll hand out new years eve ransom notes to all my guests...

Behind the lens.

This is my beloved sister and photographer Elin. She is here from Sweden for a year through an exchange program and has been staying with me <3 Elin introduced me to the wonderful world of blogging and puts up with all the crazy adventures i drag her on. what a great sister :)
Aside from writing my college essays today has been pretty laid back. Elin and i almost got lost on our way to a chinese buffet! I love those places because they have all you can eat ice cream~
My fortune cookie told me I would live a long and prosperous life but i get the feeling that i took Elin's cookie by mistake.

On the road again....

I'm kida sad that it is almost time for me to go home :( Sometimes i really like it out here in the middle of nowhere, It's quiet, peaceful, AND there are alot of good picture oportunities. Tomorrow morning my sisters and i are waking up at sunrise to get some more photos taken before we leave. I thought today would be a good day to break in my new Doc's! I dominated in some lazer tag (well TRIED to anyway) and climbed a rock wall (super scarey but SO WORTH IT). My efforts are paying off and my shoes are feeling better already :)

Merry (extended) Christmas!

When you have a large family like i do......Christmas lasts a loooooong time! Right now i'm hanging out at my Granparent's house in middle of nowhere Kansas hanging out with my two sister's, a christmas tree, some shag carpet, and Dorothy! Happy Hollidays~
