Whoo! Talk about a relief! The sun is peeking through the clouds and I am finally shaken’ off the winter blues! I hope Cabin fever isn’t getting to anybody else. I’m still obsessed with photography for the time being. I don’t think it will last much longer though because I won’t be able to get my hands on more film for awhile. Winter has had me in a fashion rut but I’m looking forward to dressing up soon!

Film isn't dead...yet.
Ok! So I have decided that I’m going to update every Wednesday from now on! Let’s see if I can keep it up. :P Here is some of my semi fashion related fashion photography. I’m not a serious photographer; it is just a hobby of mine. I love the amazing grainy effect you get with film, digital is great too but it just isn’t the same.
(Thanks to Candy Wife and Charity for being my models! I couldn’t have done it without you guys <3 )

Winter Wonderland.
Stalking the boating folks.

C for Cleopatra?
Riding on the ferry...next to the Co2 valve.
My future house will have a hallway like this! I love water.

I have been in California for the past few days with my friend Chris! It was really nice to get away from crazy cold Kansas winter weather! Here are just a few pictures from our adventures on Balboa Island. There will be more soon. Sadly I’m back in stinky ‘ol Kansas now L
I would like to thank Chris for flying me out there, buying me this outfit, and taking these pictures! You are amazing~

White glove test!
These photos were taken a few days ago before all the snow and I thought now would be a good time to post them. I had my fill of “fun in the snow” yesterday :P Like I said before I’m not much of a cold weather person. In just a few short days I will be on my way back out the west coast and enjoying a weekend AWAY from crazy Kansas weather. I can’t wait! :D
This outfit breaks one of my personal clothing rules: Leggings are not pants. The shirt is long enough that I thought I could get away with it though!
- Shirt: Kohls
- Leggings: Target
- V-neck: Wet Seal
- Bag: The buckle
- Tie and gloves: from a costume store! (haha)
Thanks again Charity for taking pictures for me~

Snow Day~
Last night it snowed so much that school got cancelled! I love the snow even though I’m not really fond of cold weather OR winter. I wish there was such a thing as warm snow. Somebody told me that people look more attractive in the snow so I wore my hair pulled out of my face to test that theory! I think they may have been lying to me and now I just look silly :< I tried to make a snow ball to throw at Elin but the snow was really fluffy and would not pack together! If we get better packing snow I think Elin and I will build a fort! :D

The dead of winter.
Something old, something new, something borrowed, and ...uhhh nothing blue?
My mom opened a clothing store around the same time I was born called Cleopatra's closet (a unique boutique). Unfortunately she had to shut it down when I was still young. Luckily she saved a few things, one of them being this super adorable Betsy Johnson dress! It has been hanging in my closet for quite some time and I forgot about it. When my mom gave it to me I was to young to appreciate it...but now it is one of my favorite dresses :)
- Dress: Besty Johnson (from Cleopatra's closet)
- Necklace: The buckle
- Jacket: Cache
- Shoes: Cinema (the only cinema store i have seen so far was in L.A.! I wish there was one closer.)

as the clock strikes midnight.
I love new years eve, it's one of my favorite days of the year! I feel alittle sad when the clock strikes midnight but at the same time it feels good. I love the feeling of starting a fresh new year, there are so many possibilities! I can't wait to meet new people, go new places, and try new thing! annnnd buy new clothes ;) I was supposed to be one of those anoying crying dolls. Costume parties are so much fun, i always love seeing the fun and creative things people come up with.

Little Sis
First post in the new year! I spent most of the day cleaning up after the party so i didn't really have time to upload any of my new years eve pictures. I thought it would be a good time to introduce my younger sister Ana <3 I'm so happy i followed through with the new years resolution i made last year...I'm having some trouble coming up with one for this year. Maybe it should be to procrastinate less?
